Behind the Pen
I’m a Southern California native, but my perfect afternoon is spent curled up in a cozy wingback chair by the fire with a good book and a cup of tea. I love the sound of the rain pattering against the window as I lose myself in a fantasy world.
I’m also a huge animal lover, and my companion, Pebbles the adventurous baby California Desert tortoise, often joins me for my afternoon tea parties.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband, going on walks, watching movies, and traveling. I’m always looking for new experiences to ignite my creativity!
WHAT INSPIRES ME
Musicals: There’s something magical about telling a powerful story through song, acting, and dancing. They always leave me wanting more.
Nature: I find great inspiration in nature. Being surrounded by the beauty of the natural world helps me to clear my head and focus on my writing.
Fantasy books: I’m a voracious reader. I love nothing more than getting lost in imaginative worlds and picturing myself as one of the characters!
